We have already conducted two runs over night but due to the heavy snow showers in the early hours we are conducting a third run with snow ploughs fitted in order to keep the main roads open. Please only drive if necessary and take care at all times if out and about on the roads.

We are already out getting more salt down in areas where snow is falling. Another full run is planned in 2 hours also. Salt does not stop snow settling but does help prevent ice forming underneath. Take care at all times.
