I am not a Twitter-bot. PC - the entire MLB universe. Griffey Jr, Maddux, Ichiro, Koufax, and Ohtani are always on my list. Love collecting pitchers. ⚾️
This may be my favorite throwback design EVER. From 2021 Topps Stadium Club Chrome - the '91 design variations are magnificent. What do you think

What is the optimum number of signatures on a baseball card (2 1/2 x 3 1/2 sized card)? I know the answer. It's 3! Seriously, a dual auto card is great, and 4 is a bit too crowded for player images, so it has to be 3. Bonus points for all being on the same team.

-“The first thing you want in a catcher is the ability to handle the pitchers. Then you want defensive skill, and, of course, a good arm. Last of all, if he can hit with power, well, then you’ve got a Johnny Bench”

Day 2 - Pitcher Card of the Day. Pedro always looked best in a Red Sox uniform (although I did like the Expos days). Nice signature too. Let's see those arms!

Griffey Jr. was the
#1
draft pick in the 1987 MLB Draft and became the first
#1
pick to also make it as a first-ballot HOFer. Can you name the only other player to do it? There's a third that could make this exclusive club when he's eligible for the first time in 2024.
My Top 10, scratch that...Top 12 additions to the PC in 2022. Nolan Ryan in an Astros uniform using the 1985 Topps design. This one comes in at

. I don't think he has the card anymore, but could you imagine pulling something like this? My head would explode 🤯
Player 74. A HOF autograph card (or two) per day. Who wants to join me?

- All-Century team 3B starter
Does it count as "bindering" when I open the binder and lay the cards on top of the pages? These are a little too thick to fit in a toploader binder, but I like to look at them this way. Can you spot the SPs?
@CardPurchaser
Getting closer! Jeter /35 arrived today.

@CardPurchaser
It's complete! Although the Bo Jackson card had the shortest print run (25) in the set, the Sandberg (30) was the last piece. Thanks to all who helped spread the word and to those that traded or sold me cards.

I ALMOST posted this earlier so someone else could buy it. I just couldn’t resist the temptation and hit the Buy It Now button on eBay. At least I know he will have a good home. My wife is going to kill me if I don’t stop buying baseball cards! 😬
I have to commend this eBay user for putting together this 2022 Topps Gilded Collection Gold HOF Plaque Autos Complete Set 52 Cards #/25, but this comes to $355 per card based on my math ($18,500). A little high IMO, but if you can get it, go for it. Nice set.

Four more 2022 Topps All Star auto cards arrived today! I'm still so far from completing this set, and I barely see the big $$$ cards on eBay. This is going to be tough to complete. HELP! 🆘
@CardPurchaser
We hit 100 different Hall of Fame player autograph cards today! 🎆 The players highlighted on this list are the ones I'm after - most are easily obtainable; I'm not sure some have officially licensed autograph cards available. I included 3 players likely to make the Hall in 2024.
Four cards left!
- Posey spotted once on eBay (red /10)
- Arenado spotted zero times (redemption?)
- Ripken Jr. ... I think I saw one redemption card
- Henderson spotted one redemption
Where are these cards? Do YOU have them? Please help if you see these.

Pack inserted autos have been around for over 30 years, but the late 90s may have been the best period as you had multiple manufacturers (Topps, UD, Fleer, Donruss, etc.) trying to outdo one another. These have aged very well. McCovey had a great signature BTW.
@CardPurchaser
SEALED vs. UNSEALED? If you have a chance to purchase a redeemed card that is still sealed vs. the same card that is not sealed, which would you prefer? Pay more for one vs. the other?

I'm calling it! Every year we get thousands of cards, but there is one "best card" every year. It's true. I can't call 2022 as we still have a lot of cards to go, but the Card of the Year for 2021 is...drumroll please...PEDRO and the Green Monster.

My final thought on stickers. I only collect auto cards so the signature is very important. When I look at stickers I see them as an afterthought almost. They're typically small and the players signature is often not fully on the sticker. Here's an example of a great on-card auto
Player 63. A HOF autograph card (or two) per day. Who wants to join me?
- “He was the best defensive player at any position. I used to stand in the outfield like a fan and watch him make play after play. I used to think, ‘Wow! I can’t believe this.’” - Frank Robinson
Player 108. A HOF autograph card (or two) per day. Who wants to join me?
- "Bell was a great outfielder and if he had played in the major leagues he would have reminded fans of Wee Willie Keeler as a hitter and Cobb as a baserunner - and he might have excelled both" - E. Gottlieb
Player 73. A HOF autograph card (or two) per day. Who wants to join me?
- See if you can match the player I post every day
- MVP, WS MVP, Cy Young, 3x WS Champion (72-74)
@yanxchick
These four are among my favorites. I've still got some cards on the way that may not make it to me until after the first of the year. At that point, I'll review everything and rank them.
Player 100. A HOF autograph card (or two) per day. Who wants to join me?
- Originally given the
#6
to follow in the line of Yankees legends (Ruth 3, Gehrig 4, and DiMaggio 5)
- Holds numerous WS records; 18 HR, 42 R, 40 RBI, Total Bases, SLG, OBP, Walks, etc.
- 3x MVP, 536 HR
Are you holding out on me? I'm a little over half way in my attempt to complete this 63 card autograph set. If you have any cards from this set that aren't pictured please let me know. Thanks!
