for the issues this show and hornline had at some parts, this show still underrated (!!!)
Who triple tonguing at 192 at mezzo forte bro?? Nobody! Go argue with ya mom! Damn!
whoever at the Cadets thought that after winning a ring in 2011 they should follow it up with Christmas show was smoking the best kind of crack lmaoooo I love that show son
lil snippet of the jazz band ! This is Stakes is High by De La Soul, produced by the late great J Dilla. Arranged this myself and my kids really took to it!
@robertglasper
your version of this was a huge inspiration!
ok ok so this the first chunk of the opener. It's Let It Happen by Tame Impala. Yes there's tuning issues and I wish we were a little stronger visually but we're working on it. Kids sound sorta loud tho ngl🥲
POV you had marching band practice until 6:30 and then a parent meeting and now you in a Zoom Meeting for all district band directors and you've only eaten turkey bites and some cheese squares at 12:30pm and a parent just walked in and told me I remind her of her ex-husband
But we really came first in our class with no drum techs, no techs for the band, and one guard tech (plenty of supportive parents tho) like it's actually crazy
I was at a protest with my family and best friends in Bibb County and this was just said. Don't ever tell me to trust anyone in power. Fucking worthless.
Today I found out my student made it to the second round of the application process (no credit to me, I just let bro come to the band room to practice) so fuck bitch ass niggas who doubt you for absolutely no reason and put the word 'sigh' in the subject line of an email
It's deeply exhausting when you trying your hardest to be positive and you're giving it up in class (online) and you look in the eyes of a student and they whole being does not care about what you saying lmao.
We continue the battle tomorrow tho.
I was really student teaching this time last year and fully realized how I didn't know shit about teaching and now I'm teaching teaching and I....still don't know shit about teaching
