Having the same family name doesn’t make you his property. If you believe it does then that’s a red flag and he should run.
@RositaSweetman
@NiamhBoyce
What’s hideous is grown women with such seething anger against Catholics. You’re both the kind that would be 1000% Catholic 60 years ago and venting against whoever was out of favour.
@niamhnih
Instead of trying to embarrass and dox someone doing their job why don’t you try to remember your travel pass? You may not get the social media dopamine but you would make other people’s lives easier.
@PadraigRice
You make it sound as if there is a crimewave that needs to be remedied ... what crimes are not being investigated exactly? What acts are currently not illegal?
@AodhanORiordain
@Ryanair
It's a company. Of course they're motivated by money, they're obliged to do so. You on the other hand are a legislator who has not had a meaningful impact on any legislation during your entire career in national politics.
@moranjustin
Drove my car yesterday … no problems and didn’t feel the need to tweet about it. Just like every other day of my life. AND there were petrol stations everywhere!
@timmydooley
Timmy, if you were any good it would be playing host to a few airlines. I live in the area but I can save several hundred by driving to Dublin and flying from there. Yet here you are cheering on one of the most corrupt leaders in Europe.
@jordsjailacc
Showing what a nice and pleasant person you are … all for attention, to feed your narcissism. It is fun seeing your feelings getting hurt though. Great fun
@PadraigRice
Hostility and prejudice are already crimes in many instances ... what you're talking here is motivation behind a crime rather than the crime itself. So are you suggesting motivation, a thought or feeling, should be outlawed?

's new found concern for Church unity is touching. Not touching in the Rupnik sense that they were content to cover up though.
@rtenews
It didn’t cost him €75 million so he would be making a profit if he gets that amount. The level of greed is sickening. No different to those who show no care for their fellow citizens housing needs.
@AodhanORiordain
Considering the level of hatred you spew on a regular basis against Catholics what makes you think unionists will ever take you serious?
@Maryvallely1
Considering the only threat to the state in its history came from the Left surely your argument should be based on that and not some mythical ‘Far Right’
@ExCllrRedmond
Bleak isn't it? But lots of pubs that open for 2-3 hours a night, barbers, kebab shops, vape shops, phone shops, an occasional Supermacs, plenty of open churches, bad secondary roads and since it's the weekend the politicians clinics are open!
@americamag
‘Gay’ is an identity. No Catholic much less a priest can describe themselves as such and if he does he is to be avoided. Have we learned nothing over the last 20+ years about how our sons have been destroyed by these people?
@McNeillYeah
So you think that by wearing a jersey advertising a sponsor and attacking a guy for wearing a suit you’re somehow better? Why don’t you just concentrate on content.
@paulmurphy_TD
Ladies and gentlemen I present to you socialism and why it must be resisted at all costs.
Now I am going to eat some beef and drink some cream. Two reasons for living … there are others and none of them come from the Left

First of all no woman is ‘forced’ to give up the name she received at birth from her family. The real question is why would she be taken seriously in her intention to start a new family on marriage if she’s not going to take a new family name?
@cynimhurchu
I'm voting Independent in Ireland South because I live 45 minutes from Shannon but I have to travel 3 hours to Dublin if I want to fly anywhere. Your party in government have done nothing for regional airports. Nothing!
@ninnythebear
@Alan__Shatter
Boasts about living in a big house and is dismayed that people who will never afford a small house would sing a few songs at a festival
@ciaranmcasey
I for one am far happier with the level of service offered by

over what the Greens have done … or FFG OR labour or any other party in the Dail
@Branen1977
@LPhitney
I can acknowledge Francis to be legitimately elected pope and still say he is wrong in many things he says. Obedience is not blind, when I stand before God I can't say, "I was only following orders".
@donlav
Explain to me why Ireland providing military hardware for the corrupt Ukraine armed forces is more important than providing housing, education and hospital care for Irish people?
@ciaranmcasey
@kavsie
Sounds more like it pricks at your conscience. You might want us to think you’re a non-believer but there’s no such thing really. People don’t reject God, they reject the moral law because they lack self control. The nihilistic life will get to you sooner or later.
@NewWaysMinistry
A religious order that can’t attract any women is scalded because faithful young Catholic women aspire to be mothers and not wage slaves.
@chuck_weigel
@NCRonline
@stevenpmillies
Our first allegiance is to Jesus Christ and his Church. For Catholic liberals the state comes before that, they also worship the pope but only as long as he’s one of them
@michaelbd
The people who complain about this today are the ultimate conformists and 60 years ago would have been shaming single mothers. They jump on a bandwagon and kick the Church when it’s down. They’re conformist cowards
The Irish need to be a victim and the scramble for victim recognition by people who’ve never experienced anything but privilege is a mystery. See how they chose the Church in particular, to vent against because it’s obviously out of favour but also because they lack imagination.
@JohnOBrennan2
So we keep hearing Russia is interfering in elections in other countries although no evidence is ever produced but it's okay for EU politicians to participate in Western backed destabilisation exercises.
@NCRonline
He’s a bully in other words. Like a father that is all nice and kind outside the home but is abusive towards his own children. Utterly dysfunctional
@JohnOBrennan2
Indeed anybody who works for a think tank or organisation that promotes the foreign policy objectives of non-Irish entities should be permanently banned from public life ... permanently.
@rtenews
Imagine an institution that wants to be taken seriously as a law making body that comes up with a law saying bottle caps have to be tethered to the bottle ... Imagine the people that just say yes and do it.
@mmmgree
@davidfrum
The problem is with people who badly wanted this to be true so they can ent their anti-religious neurosis. You’re not one of those are you?
@NCRonline
@stevenpmillies
‘Credibility’, in this context means a rejection and reversal of Catholic teaching about the state. You will never get Catholicism from the NCR
@danobrien20
Ireland is under no threat but if we do join a military alliance we are making ourselves a legitimate target in a conflict situation. Certain people love these kinds of organisations because they get to hob nob at meetings and their sons will never die on a battlefield.
My Twitter feed is awash with accounts of politicians and NGO people I don't follow and all are calling for a Yes vote in
#Referendum2024
... this is in contrast to normal people who are all calling for NO.
@IrishTimes
"Street" - surely you mean streets. The entire place is unpleasant. To be clear, Paris, London, Brussels etc are a lot lot worse in places but oddly enough Poland, Croatia, Hungary etc etc etc do not have the same issues.
Will the government now please legislate according to the people's wishes ... for starters give PRSI credits to mothers who remain at home to rear their children.
#Referendum2024
@Michael_O_Regan
Well I use my name and have my photo in my profile. I don’t know if I’m muted but you’ve never answered my basic question to you. Where were you when MDH was interfering in other political issues that might be much the same as your own?
@davidmcw
Entirely due to inward migration because our birth rate is declining faster than any other country’s. At the same time the youth native population indicate they want to leave. This is a recipe for massive instability down the line.
@danobrien20
Just to be clear you’re saying the US and it’s allies in Europe had no hand act or part in the conflict in Ukraine over the last 15 years and you’ll stake your professional career on that. Am I right?
@irishexaminer
@RositaSweetman
Yet another piece that exploits the memory of a dead woman who had multiple issues and suffered a great deal in her life. Very bad taste to write this not to mention even print it. Using a tragic death to vent spleen and promote a writing career shows a real lack of class.
@JohnOBrennan2
It’s funny see you get paranoid about one super power interfering in the internal affairs of a sovereign country whilst supporting a different superpower interfering in a different country. If only there was a word to describe someone like you …
@FCTwenteBenson
Let me tell you about these lads called the IRA and their Marxist political backers who literally assassinated elected representatives and members of the Gardai and defence forces ...
@Aidan_Regan
It's about controlling people's speech which is ultimately about controlling their thoughts. It is sinister and a sign of the worst form of totalitarianism.
