It is with great sadness that we inform you that Fr. Norman Fischer, Lexington Catholic High School Chaplain, passed away unexpectedly last night while traveling. Currently, no other details are available. Arrangements are pending and information will be sent out at a later time.
Friends and family gathered in the theatre today to watch Joe Schlarman sign his intent to play college footbal at Eastern Kentucky University. We are extremely proud of him and cannot wait to watch him at the next level.
We were honored by the number of faculty, alumni, and current students who came to participate in the Rosary to honor Fr. Norman Fischer. The outpouring of appreciation for him has been unbelievable, and we will continue to celebrate his legacy in the days and years to come.

Yesterday, during our school-wide Mass, SGA unveiled this year's school theme. In the wake of Father Norman's passing, this theme not only honors his memory but also serves as a constant reminder that we will continue to lean on each other through both the good times and bad.
A Mass in memory of Father Norman will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at LCHS, beginning at 6:00PM. Doors will open at 5:15PM. Please use Entrance A.

The boys' baseball team kicked off their season last night with a scrimmage against Henry Clay. Their first official game is scheduled for March 13th against West Jessamine, and the home opener is set for March 16th against Scott County.

In May's Junior Elite Nationals, he secured an overall 17th place finish to qualify him.

We are thrilled to announce that Miles Buchart, Graham Leslie, and Sydney Leslie have been named Dive All-Americans for the 2023-2024 season! Sydney was the only female from Kentucky selected. Additionally, only one other school in the U.S. had as many divers chosen.
Today in Bueter Gym, joined by friends and family, we held a Spring Signing Ceremony for 17 student-athletes committed to playing their sports at the college level. We could not be more proud of their dedication and the incredible accomplishment they have achieved.
A big congratulations to our Lady Knight cheerleaders, who make it to the UCA finals in Orlando, FL for the first time in program history.

Last Friday night, we hosted the annual Kentucky-Indiana All-Star Game in Bueter Gym.
Our own Tyler Doyle suited up for the boys, scoring nine points and grabbing eight rebounds. He helped lead the Kentucky All-Stars to a 103-82 victory.
We were honored to host a tailgate last Friday for the 25th anniversary of the 1999 Baseball State Championship team. They were recognized on the field at the KHSAA State Tournament, celebrating the anniversary of their 4-2 victory over PRP.
