Yesterday at #COP26 , Ecuadorian president Guillermo Lasso announced that the Galápagos marine reserve will be expanded! The MPA will be 60,000 km² larger, protecting an important feeding & migration area for endangered species like hammerhead sharks & sea turtles 🌊🙌🐢

Octopuses are masters of camouflage. But how do they do it? 🐙👀 Chromatophores cells sit under their skin and have tiny sacs filled with red, orange, brown, yellow or black pigment. When the sac expands, the colour becomes more visible.
