. @sterling7 makes a good point! The portrayal of black people by the media does fuel the racism we see in society. Imagine a more diverse media. The important debates take place BEFORE stories are published and broadcast. @bcomstweet is trying to fix this in sport (unfunded!)

Must say @JNETTEKWAKYE is an outstanding trackside reporter. Has a great rapport with the athletes - you can tell they trust and want to speak to her. Questions are always strong. And tone of interviews spot on (easy to get wrong, trust me). Bravo! 👌🏽

Yesterday was a good day. As a birthday treat, I took my eldest daughter to White Hart Lane for her first time! I started my WHL journey with a win too back in 1989. Hopefully she sees a few more trophies than me... 🙏🏽😂 Big thanks to @premierleague for the kind invite.

I remember when I worked for Kick It Out back in 2006, I wrote letters to about 50 players at their clubs. With hindsight, not a great method to reach out... Only @DarrenBent got back direct. Called me and simply said: “What can I do?” Top guy 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

So glad the cameras caught @OfficialTM_3 flagging up racism to the officials when we all heard it. Although it made me feel for all those players that have done the same over the years but were ignored or accused of using a ‘race card’.
