So not only did I have my 1 year follow up with my surgeon today ,I also ended up getting the job to work as a urgent care nurse tech and CSR for the Lake.I was waiting to see if HR approved my pay rate I wanted and they did!Not ready for the 12 hour shifts but ready for a change

This week I had multiple quizzes , research building assignments , interviews, and my official white coat ceremony. Today marks the first day I get my first bedside patients and start working with clients much closer than I have ever before at the hospital as a student nurse.

I knew losing a lot of weight would change my body and health but I didn’t think it would affect my mentality this much.When my doctor told me he wanted me down to 160lbs I laughed in his face and scoffed thinking it not possible.I had been overweight since a toddler and(Pt1.)

Comicpalooza was definitely one to remember! I got to meet so many new people who were so genuine and kind which I’m so grateful for as I am extremely shy/awkward. I also played in Majestic Bracket which was a blast. We had an overall really fun time and WILL be back next year!
