When there are 42 young men from a small school committed to one cause with immeasurable character and heart, nothing is impossible. Lena-Winslow takes down Goliath: WE ARE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS.
Congrats to
@IsaiahBruce62
on his offer from the Hawkeyes! The young man has represented the LW the right way in football, basketball, and track. Fun to watch, but even cooler to see his humble approach and overall impact on the kids in the Le-Win community.

We wake up this morning as team champions of the IHSA Sectional at Rockridge. Out of the 16-scoring teams, we were the SMALLEST team by enrollment. While our program has had 40 NUIC Conference titles, we had NEVER won a Sectional title. These 42 young men made history last night.
Electric RESPONSE as Lena-Winslow’s 4x200 Relay flies to 3rd in the State! ⚡️⚡️⚡️So proud of Marey Roby, Kam Klever, Jace Flynn, and O’Mar Pasley! 🥉🥉🥉🥉

In a wild and crazy finish with a 0.5 point difference, the NUIC Conference Championship came down to a 4x400 Relay between Lena-Winslow and Galena/East Dubuque/River Ridge. As they did all night, our young men ran with such heart and guts.
WE ARE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS.
With the end of the 2019 season upon us, a special thank you to three of my four-year seniors:
@Gyland28Keegan

Three storybook careers came to an end yesterday in Charleston for Lena-Winslow High School student-athletes Rahveon Valentine, Gaige Schwartz, and Ty Chrisman. Young men who were fast apart, but always faster together. The true power of brotherhood on a relay.
