When I left CNN in 2016 as an intern, I always said I would be back again as a correspondent for this incredible network. After years of hard work, dreams do come true. So thrilled to work alongside these incredible journalists.

As Uvalde CISD goes back to school today, pray for the children and teachers starting a new year, say the names of the 21 angels watching over them, and lift up the families still battling grief ❤️🙏🏼

So often we lose sight of the hard times Caitlyne faces. She’s brave and strong, but she’s only 10. Talking about how the gunman tried to get into her room is what breaks her down. We love you sweet girl.

This family drove from New Braunfels to bring flowers for each of the children killed. Priscilla Vega’s children are around the same age as most of the victims
I’ve never donated blood before because I’m TERRIFIED of needles. However, in this last year covering the Robb tragedy, I saw how life saving blood really is. Without it some of the survivors wouldn’t be here. Today I donated for the first but not the last time. You should too.
