MOMENTS AGO, Lebanon Police officers responded to the Dollar General on 109 N and located the escaped inmates out of Sumner County. We currently have a large police presence at the Dollar General on 109. More details to come.
This morning, several officers attended the Gathering for Gabby prayer time at Fakes & Hooker Lumber. Gabby Aulds is an 8 year old who is battling bone cancer and is scheduled for surgery. Please join us in keeping her and her family in your prayers.

Today, it was an honor to assist escorting the families of MJPD Sgt. Jerry Mundy and WCSO Deputy John Musice on the 20-year anniversary of their death. They made the ultimate sacrifice on I40 in Mt. Juliet while attempting to stop a fugitive fleeing from the Knoxville area.(1/2)

Today is a sad day for LPD as one of our recently retired K9’s passed away.K9 Ace passed away yesterday with his partner, Officer Richard Clark, by his side. K9 Ace gave his dedicated service to the LPD from 2015-2022 as an explosives detection/tracking K9.(1/3)

Pastor Erik Reed with the Journey Church is part of our family of department chaplains. He and his church have always supported us above and beyond. His son, Kaleb, is having surgery today and we wanted to send out our prayers and well wishes for a speedy recovery.
Pastor Erik Reed (Journey Church) and his family delivered breakfast and dinner for our shifts yesterday. It was a biscuits and BBQ kinda day. And it was awesome to see Kaleb! Thank you so much for the kindness, the Reed family and Journey Church has always been there for us.
This story was shared with us from this weekend at the fair. Officer Matthew Robertson’s actions truly exemplify what it means to serve this community with compassion. We are so grateful for him and all of our officers who go above and beyond the call of duty without hesitation.

We are saddened to announce the passing of retired LPD K9 Rush. K9 Rush served as a narcotics K9 from 2013 to 2019. After retirement, Rush enjoyed a fulfilling life, filled with love & many treats. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bryan family during this difficult time.
Three of our canines have recently retired. Luke, a yellow Labrador retriever, began serving with LPD in 2014. Luke was trained in narcotics and was assigned to his partner K9 Officer Robert Bates. Jaxx, a German Shepherd, began serving with LPD in 2016. (1/3)

Wilson County Schools and Lebanon Special School District have announced they will be closed again tomorrow due to impending weather issues. SACC is also closed for LSSD.
There is an active police presence in the West End Station neighborhood on Lebanon Rd. A suspect wanted from Metro Nashville is barricaded. Please stay inside if you live in this neighborhood. Should you need to be evacuated, police will make contact. Updates to follow.
Safenet captured a 2018, white, Jeep Compass, that was stolen out of Michigan. Overnight patrol units located the vehicle at a gas station on South Cumberland St. Officers were able to make contact with a female driver. (1/2)

Congratulations to nine new officers with the Lebanon Police Department that graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy. These officers trained for close to 500 hours during a 12 week academy. They will now start their field training program. (1/3)
Hats off to the Lebanon Fire Department for rescuing a service worker today when his bucket lift got stuck in the up position. The operator was safely brought to the ground and the vehicle was repaired. The incident took place on the off ramp of I40 at Hartman Drive.
