Navigating an ‘old’ male dominated space is incredibly demoralizing, especially in Palestine work. Youth are the leading force on the ground and in digital spaces. Women are the majority of diaspora grassroots organizers. Neither demographic enjoy respect in institutional spaces.

The impact of “Mo” on @netflix ( @realmoamer ) is underestimated. I was amongst strangers (turned friends) who when I told them I was Palestinian they referred to “Mo,” said they loved it & learned so much. I did not have to defend or explain my identity, it was simply recognized.
