The strength of Ted Lasso is also its weakness. It's diverse and powerful cast that made the found family that everyone loved in S1 and S2 is way more in the forefront than previous seasons. If you find you aren't attached to these characters, then you will have a bad time.

Guys Roy Kent wasn't poorly written or written out of character. He is a flawed human whose insecurities have shown to be his biggest obstacle. We've seen that in season 1 & 2. Now we are getting proof his insecurities harm more than himself and we see him realize in that scene.

I think the thing that makes the ending feel so rotten for me is it makes it feel like Ted was and always has been a TEMPORARY person in these peoples' lives. He stopped being a character and became more of a "lesson" that allowed everyone to move on without him. It hurts.

The reason why TedBecca works so well to me and ISN'T cliche or overused is because their bond has grown very organically and did not start out with romantic interest. The leadup to their romance and potential eventual coupling is far different to the norm in het media.

Why didn't they instead of ending with them saying thank you to eachother do a callback with Rebecca emotionally saying "you're a Godsend, Ted Lasso" and Ted says "takes one to know one" and they hug emotionally

I love the complicated nature of how bad a mom Ted's mom is. Surface level she is so caring and friendly, but you can just feel the undercurrent of her emotional neglect and small manipulations throughout the episode. She loves her son, but she herself is a hurt person.
