It's interesting that in Yakuza Kiwami 2, Kiryu had grey outfit while Kaoru had black outfit. And the coloring is now reversed for LAD Infinite Wealth in which Kiryu has mostly black outfit and Kaoru has grey outfit.

Massive kudos to RGG for not only giving us new party members, but also for retaining characters from the previous game. The old RGG Studio would definitely get rid of Nanba, Sawashiro and Arakawa for being likeness characters, and possibly Joongi, Zhao and Seonhee as well.

I think Daigo is the only 'good guy' character that faces no consequence for murdering another person (IMO his first shot is self-defense but second shot is murder). Every other good/redeemed character who has killed/ordered someone to be killed either died or went to prison.

Hmm, while Kiryu said he first met Kaoru 17 years ago (2006), he admitted to Date that he last saw her 15 years ago (around 2008). So either she did come back briefly from the US or RGG kinda retconned the timeline and they saw each other until 2008.
