Campbell River with historically high pink returns in 2013. Guess it must have been because aquaculture sites were present in the Discovery Islands during the outmigration? Just saying stuff doesn't make it true. Maybe these 2 things aren't correlated?

Fraser sockeye 2010, Broughton pinks 2014, South coast chum 2016, Cowichan Chinook 2016, Campbell Chinook 2020, Campbell pinks 2014 etc. Have you forgotten those returns in your reasoning ?

We need to think bigger picture! 60 years of data from salmon populations across Alaska found a decrease in average size among Chinook, sockeye, coho, and chum populations beginning around 1990, and that the rate of shrinkage has accelerated since 2000.
