Our collective thoughts & prayers are with Members of North Haven, CT Firefighters Local 2987 as Firefighter Matthias Wirtz, a 22 yr veteran, died in the Line of Duty Christmas night at a building fire. The loss of any Member always reverberates throughout our Profession. So sad.

On Jan 9, 2009, highly decorated, 31 year Veteran Fire LT, Kevin M. Kelley of L26, died from injuries he received when the fire apparatus he was riding crashed after the brakes failed while returning from a call. Kevin's family remains in our thoughts and prayers. #WeNeverForget
