Dad turned 88 yesterday. Finished school at 14 and went to work. Married a girl from a immigrant family. Bought land he was told he would never pay for. Raised cattle and a large family. Notice that pen and pad still in his pocket. Drops in daily to make sure we are working ๐
The green turkey is smaller but has no GMOโs,added hormones or pesticides. The big one for half price doesnโt have any of those things either.

Privileged to turn furrows for the first time in my life on the family homestead. Would have to wonder what life was like almost 200 years ago on this farm. The dream lives on ๐จ๐ฆ
My farm over the years. First is 60's era. Next when I bought it in 83. Then 2015 & 2017. Lots of water under the bridge. Lots of mistakes and a few successes

Wrong. DFO is run by dairy farmers. Thatโs how the quota system works. Supply is controlled by production allotments and high tariffs on imports. The government has absolutely nothing to do with dumping milk.

So many people on social media have lost track of this fact. We are blessed with the safest most abundant and affordable food supply in the history of humanity. Those that want to destroy what we have built can go pound salt ........
We seem to have forgotten that before the post-war development of modern farming systems, we regularly faced food shortages, high prices and poor-quality food.
A few bags of 2% left. Store owner canโt source any pork. Might be time for a bunch of highly paid executives to get their shit together. If they want to control the food system at least put some fucking food on the shelves.
We're eating more beef than ever -- but at what cost? CNN's Nick Paton Walsh looks at the environmental impact of beef, and how human consumption needs to change to reduce global warming.
How to break down silos? โInvite everyone to the table and break bread; Legislators, policymakers, non profits, doctors, chefs. So we can put the right plate on the table.โ Robert Graham,

In the last 20 years agriculture changed at light speed. Farmers moved quickly to new technologies. We now farm with staggering efficiency and accuracy. A large segment of society either wasnโt paying attention or didnโt care.
