The funny thing is that Capcom solved throw loops decades ago. Games like SF3 had 6 unthrowable frames on wake-up and after blocks/hits. This meant you couldn't time a meaty attack and a grab on the exact same frame. SF2 had THIRTEEN unthrowable frames. SF5 and SF6 have 2.

So, arcade Alpha 3 Upper actually launched with a crap ton of native input lag compared to vanilla. A3 had around 2.5f of input lag, while Upper had around 4.5-6f, which made it feel borderline unplayable. Hopefully this fixes that, and we get a playable version for once.

So two big things with the latest Fightcade update: - FcadeFBNeo v0.2.97.44-54: Read inputs multiple times per frame to prevent input drops - Flycast Dojo updated to 6.30 (FC ver was very outdated) Should help NAOMI performance. Hopefully, fewer dropped inputs too.

Scumbag unblockable resets all day. Option-selects roll outs. Can escape with an alpha counter, but otherwise, it does insane damage with enough meter. Also, shout out to cross-ups that aren't blocked cross-up depending on the timing.

A-ISM only tier list from VER's channel: Sim and Gief basically run the game when V-ISM is gone. One because you can't get in, and one because you can't keep him out, lol. Sak' and Sodom would be much stronger if they had their proximity normals.

Unpopular old man opinion: Hit stun on jump-ins is way too generous in modern Street Fighter. Throws the risk/reward on anti-airs VS jump-ins way off for many chars, since you can almost always get a big combo off a max height jump-in. --- #StreetFighter #FGC #SFV #retrogaming

@CM_Carnage I think it's lousy design, personally. It basically puts a silver player and a pro player on the same level defensively in many oki situations, which results in a lot more rounds going to dice rolls. Grabs were traditionally something you had to condition someone to take.

Cool little example of Guy's A3 stun glitch. If you manage to stun with the last hit of his bushin chain near the corner, you can set up a jab infinite due to the way the pushback gets bugged post-roll.

Flycast running poorly for you on Fightcade? It currently doesn't have an option to automatically force 60hz refresh rate, so it doesn't play nice with high refresh monitors unless you manually set an FPS limit. Next update will reportedly fix this. --- #FGC #fightcade
