Will never forget when my buddy Tim called me around 2 pm and said let’s go to the Masters. By 3 I told my boss I quit and by 6am we were at the Waffle House on Washington Rd without tickets. By 9 we were inside the grounds. We went every other year after that. Great memories.

Moe Demling who won the Ky Open 50 years ago. Watching his grandson Brendon Doyle hit it to 6 feet on the 12th hole at Persimmon Ridge during the 2021 Ky Open. Brendon made birdie and is -2 for the day -9 for the tournament.

I’ve actually done the research on this. Years ago I would fix ball marks like this on or chipping green mark them see how they would heal. They healed perfectly. Haven’t carried a divot tool since.

Haven’t played here in years always a fun course to play. The 3 of us 52/53 year old farts teed it up from the tips just for fun, it’s in awesome shape Nevel Meade. What a beautiful piece of property. This should be on your list of courses to play at least once a month.

Win $50,000 by making just 3 putts ? That’s exactly what happened at Iroquois GC Holy Family had 15 putting contest qualifiers and the finals were held at Iroquois GC. Each contestant had a chance to make a 10 Ft 30 Ft and 50ft putt. Sheldon Hoagland made all 3 and won $50,000

Not a fan of putting any personal stuff on twitter. But this memory came up on FB from 6 years ago. My son has Muscular Dystrophy. It’s a disease that progresses slowly. He can no longer move his arms. Nolan Ryan had nothing on his fastball 😊. My hand is still hurting.

The homeless guy got me around with a 79. Bought him a few packs of Reds. A Indi’s spicy keel snack pack from Indi’. A 44 Oz Circle K Polar Pop Mt Dew. Some rolling papers, gave him the $50 I won in the low Net and added another $150 on for Lottery tickets and the Canadian Mist.
