Approximately 90% of the fires in California are human caused - accidents, arson, and idiots. Every season is fire season -be smart, keep everyone safe. For the lawn obsessed - no gas powered mowers and blowers during red flag warnings.

The neurology practice I use has 3 MDs. 2yrs ago my neurologist said masks are BAD for you 🙄 She then got sick & went from full time to 1 day/week. 1 of her partners has now rescheduled my 4th appt in a row. His secretary said he “never recovered from his vacation.” 🦠

@DrRobertCollins @bajabug Yrs ago when I lived in the South, the cost of sandbags and hurricane prep (incl groceries, water, gas, tarps, boards etc) and evacuation + motel was usually about $2500/storm. Not everyone has that kind of money or a car to leave in or can afford a place to go (if u can find 1).
