I will talk all things Good Omens. Elizabethan Crowley obsessed, I post daily shenanigans. DNI if ๐ as I will post NSFW. โค๏ธ Doctor, Demon, Angel and a Sandman
@GoodOmensNews_
I will admit, I would give ANYTHING, to see Michael dressed and act like Crowley and David as Aziraphale. Not like S1E6, I want full garb and I'll even settle for one episode. Like, say they did it for a fundraiser, I would about empty my bank account to see that happen.
@swirlingthings
Yes I sure do!! Also, could I also share this? David Tennant reading the book shop scene from S1. He does both characters and it's hilarious.
@fashi0nloverb0y
I don't know if anyone has noticed in the end credits that Aziraphales pic freezes and Crowleys keeps moving. Like he's moving on and Azi is frozen in time. I've watched it a few times down to when it's just moving lights and it's the same.
@swirlingthings
It's that final plea, you can hear the desperate tone. Then absolute silence queue, we all feel it, we are all drowning in it with Crowley. To the point that he reaches out to Azi and he fails that last hint. Like a last gasp and our collective minds wanting to exhale.
@swirlingthings
The thing that now is going to drive me crazy is that, for Aziraphale, it was still too fast for him. Talk about a courtship that even Jane Austen might think is a tad slow.
@SunnyB_stard
I think it lovely that he knows how much we care for both Terry's and his creation. Granted we are an intense and passionate lot, but look at them!! How could we not love the husbands.
@GoodOmensPrime
The pure rage that comes from him is something to behold. You know, no, I guarantee that Crowley would burn the entire universe down if anyone would hurt Aziraphale. And that is why, in my opinion Metraton is scared of him.
@swirlingthings
He wants to make a couple of Nina and Maggie, but he cannot bring himself to say he wants to be a couple with Aziraphale. Goes circles around the subject in the confession. And you know that everyone was yelling "SAY YOU WANT TO BE A COUPLE", not a group of two...
@GoodOmensNews_
I love the fact that Neil loved Terry so much. Terry entrusted him with one of his treasures and we are lucky enough to be in a time we can all share in it. We should cherish every moment that are given the privilege of peeking into their their little bookshop.
@goosetooths
I always was under the impression that Crowley was the more powerful of the two. I had that confirmed with him being the one saying โlet there be lightโ. And the opening of the file, that had to be for upper management eye only!
#GoodOmens
#Crowley
@swirlingthings
The love he has for Terry Pratchett and how determined he is to keep that flame alive is beyond words. And he sacrifices so much of himself for every fan. It's Ineffable.
@prefallcrowley
Michael Sheen is just magical in that scene. The amount of mixed emotions that cross his face. The pain is beyond palpable.
And now I cry...
@azfellndco
When he takes that courage breath and that "here it goes" moment. Time stopped for me, honest, because I knew what was coming. That train was full steam ahead and we were not prepared for the wreck.
@azfellndco
Let's face it, he has it bad. If he turns, looks at him, ooh, and if he takes his sunglasses off, he's done. I know I would cave, run to him and tell him I am sorry.
@swirlingthings
He didn't want him AT ALL, it was a ruse. He knew that Crowley would say no in no way he would do it. His plan was to break them up. Crowley is too powerful, he fears how close the husbands are. Break the team, insert mistrust in between them. Oh, Metraton is a true villain.
@djrtyhands
Crowley didn't want to let go of Aziraphale's hand after the switch. That's why he does that little twirl with his hand, knocks on the bench and lets out that sigh. Like, it should have not let go.
@swirlingthings
He's not crying alone, we are all crying with Michael. Omg, we don't deserve him, the kindness, affirmation and absolute love he gives the fandom.
@SunnyB_stard
So many layers to their story, it's like a never ending piece of cake that you can't fisnish cutting because it doesn't seem to have an end.
@azirascrowley
Yes, quiet reminder that sometimes if you take a different path, you chose to buck the "system" its lonely. But at least you keep true to who you are. Crowley is really the strongest one out of all of us. But that's my interpretation.
@MJJoyceCrowley
Makes you wonder, after he and Beebz leave together, will he be a better angel? He was so full of himself in the graveyard scene, even Beebz didn't care for that. I sure hope that he learned how awful he was and does better.....
@swirlingthings
You know that there has to be one. They had various angles so then in editing they picked what was worth it for the final cut. Somewhere out there, it exists, and someone is safeguarding it.
@withyouangel
Omg! That's from the Good Omens book reading David does. Oh and it's fantastic, I am sharing this again because it's amazing. I have searched for more but have been unable too. But do enjoy this snippet.
@SunnyB_stard
I have to agree, it was one of the most baffling decisions that Crowley has made. Was it a sign of respect? That's why he let Azi have that conversation with Metraton? Not like C was expecting Metraton do pull the rug from under him.
@SunnyB_stard
Well, if you think about it theyve never kissed before. Goes by what what they do in the movies? Like awkward teenagers fumbling around for the first time. I'd like to think that!
@azirascrowley
So child like in his demeanor and just that gleem in his eye. Wanting to share that happiness and omg, nope. Not gonna happen and then we all cry.
@aziraballs
Aziraphale is a wily one. Those eccles cakes did calm Crowley down and at least he didn't toss the plate away like he does the books. Honest, I half expected him to do that.
@Bigspookyfanmee
Ooh, now that makes so much sense now. She was so horrified the mere thought of giving him the holy water. 1941, tell you what, that year made the most impact on their lives.
@TGoodomens
"That which has no fins nor scales in the waters, that is a detestable thing unto you"
Here I thought it was something completely different.....
@swirlingthings
Crowley just cannot help himself but run to Aziraphale as soon as he calls. This scene, along with old fashioned lover boy, is the best. But at times, I wonder, is the song really referring to Crowley? I have had doubts for a while....
@swirlingthings
The tone of his voice when he says "no. I don't suppose it does." It gives me the chill, the resignation, the wall goes up with the shades. I cannot state how much power that scene has. And again fam...
@SunnyB_stard
I always wonder, did people watch the same show? And trust me, I am pretty flighty, but it was so painfully obvious how much they loved each other. I dunno, maybe some folks where afraid to see themselves in the show, that whole deny who I am thing? Food for thought..
@prefallcrowley
I am already stock piling tissues boxes. The tears will flow like a river and I am not ashamed to admit it. Because when S3 is announced, I won't stop crying.
@swirlingthings
I don't know how he did it, I could not have just stopped like that. I love Aziraphale so much, but damn, when he did that and Crowley paused, the pain train was full steam ahead and I was the bridge collapsed under it's weight.
