Update..Surgery went well with no complications. Still no feeling from waist down. That’s ok bc the thing we all love about him is from his heart up!! We still have my Dad and that’s all We care about. Thanks for all the prayers and texts. God is good!!

Last night we lost a legend. He was my best friend, my mentor.He was an unbelievable example of what it looked like to be a husband/father/friend.. He is no longer in pain and is with the Lord. He’s looking down with a cigar in his mouth holding court in heaven. Love you dad!

Baseball pet peeve #11 . New pitcher comes in game throws 8 warmup pitches, first batter about to step into box, catcher then figures out he needs to talk to pitcher. Catchers, go talk to new pitcher prior to his 8 warm ups not after!!

We mentioned him in our post game talk on the field. Kid was locked in at 10pm in the 8th inning of a 14-6 game. Told them if he can be, so can we. Would love to have the young man come meet the team tomorrow at practice.

The new baseball rules to help improve the pace of play are going to ruin the game. With any rule there are going to be teams trying to gain a competitive advantage bc of the new rule. We are putting our umpires in a horrible spot.
