During lockdown, we teamed up with
@KilmarnockFC
to vote for the best ever Killie kit and this is what won. Worn 25 years ago today as we beat Falkirk 1-0 to win our third Scottish Cup.
The 2024/25 Home and Away kits!
Home kit celebrates the 60th anniversary of our league win while the away features intricate patterns from the Ayrshire Cup.
Shorts and socks interchangeable, stripes on the back of the home. Red numbers on home, blue on the away.
You think coming back from 2-0 down against a last-16 Champions League team is going to be tough? Some team once came back from 4-0 down to a team who had been in the final 4 years earlier.
Great victories are born from great challenges.
We. Are Killie.
Devastated to hear of the passing of my fellow forum moderator, Craig “CB” Benson. His contribution to the club, the trust and the time and effort he spent on accumulating highlights and running the KFCSA MOTM/POTY over the years cannot be overstated. Rest in peace, friend.
Before the Ross County game,
@KilmarnockFC
honoured John Gall with a framed KillieKits print of all 8 Brownings-sponsored shirts. A wonderful memento of their highly successful 3-year sponsorship deal with Browning the Bakers.
What a couple of days. Tonnes of press for our new away kit. Well done to
@KilmarnockFC
in particular
@GreggMac88
for the original Fleming idea &
@AndrewFitz95
and the media team for getting the kit out there. Of course a big well done too to
@hummel1923
for executing so well.
If we qualify for either group stage, we'll need a white section for our names and numbers and our rear sponsors will be restricted to a charitable organisation.
On Blair Alston Day, it’s important to remember the real context of that goal.
The goal is a real sliding doors moment. We’re sitting pretty in 4th in the Prem with Europe almost certain to come now but Arbroath are playing League 1 football next year.
What a fantastic event
#KillieKits
has been. Great idea from
@GrahamOrr15
brilliantly put together by
@TrustInKillie
and supported by
@KilmarnockFC
. I've obviously got a bit of a soft spot for kits but it's filled me with joy today seeing how much it has brought together others.
You might know I live in the NE of England. While I’ve been up here this visit, I’ve seen more Killie shirts on kids than I ever have, and I’m in proper Ayr country. Pretty sure we’re outnumbering OF shirts on the kids. What a change since I was a kid. Amazing.
Finally, away kit time!
First of all,
@hummel1923
coming up with a wonderful concept in celebrating Alexander Flemming and the discovery of Penicillin. People are throwing credit my way on that but it was Hummel who need the praise on that front.
