[ICYMI]We need to protect the integrity of domestic policy formulation. Prudent macroeconomic policies are in the interests of balanced & sustainable growth. Sliding into macroeconomic populism would limit our policy choices and leave @ProudlySA to the dictates of foreign lenders

The objective of prudential supervision is to protect the interests of savers and policyholders. This is important because for credit to flow to borrowers, who must invest in businesses and household assets, there must savings. Savings are important for investment. #PA
