As we are in the final stages of QA testing and ramping up to the launch of our DCA protocol, I wanted to share some insight behind our design. We have spent a lot of time designing our implementation in order to prioritize performance, security, and transparency. I've previously

I've said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again: I believe our aggregator (and by extension our Dynamic Gas feature) is one of the best showcases of Sui’s tech to date. Thanks to Programmable Transaction Blocks (PTBs), we are able to perform very complex trades that route

Programmable Transaction Blocks (PTBs) are a novel construct on Sui that better enables dynamic and atomic composability. dApps are able to chain together on-chain function calls into PTBs, entirely off-chain, to be signed and submitted for execution as a singular,

@moon_shiesty One key difference is that PTBs are designed to be constructed programmatically on the client side ( shows some examples), whereas a human must manually write/compile a script. If you are writing a dynamic app that decides what to do "on the fly", and you

I am proud to announce that today we surpassed $20M TVL across our AMM and afSUI! 🌊🌊 It took us four months to reach our first $10M and less than a month to double it. Wonder where we will be this time next month? 🤔 Lets keep this momentum going!! #Sui #Suinami #BuildOnSui

In practice (on Sui, at least), the leader schedule is deterministic within an epoch. Sui has also implemented the Hammerhead protocol (and I believe Aptos will be implementing something similar with the release of Shoal) that allows the leader schedule to be dynamically updated

Just realized, SSLE is JIT leader election, whereas Narwhal based consensus can retroactive leader election (see ). At the cost of slightly extra latency, you can get perfect (!?) leader DDoS prevention.

TLDR: There are no long-lasting downsides to PTBs. I expect to see a number of chains start adopting this primitive.

@wgwelku The primary downside to PTBs is their lack of command line interface (CLI) compatibility. Interacting with a PTB-friendly function (described below), requires writing a script instead of using the CLI. This issue primarily affects developers or technical traders who are familiar

@themoveguy It gets better! We also use the hot potato pattern to increase overall route security by: 1️⃣ Enforcing route-wide validity checks as opposed to only swap-localized checks (e.g. slippage occurred throughout the route vs in one individual swap) 2️⃣ Preventing misuse of swapped coins

Happy trading. 🌊🌊 Please note that the expressivity of your $FUD routes will be limited to just $FUD <> $SUI for the time being. This is due to an underlying feature of Sui: once an object has been transferred it cannot be accessed again during the same transaction.

4/ Apart from the new SUI staking feature, our Capy staking is one of the only ways to passively earn native SUI. Breeding fees are paid out in SUI and dispersed between all staked positions, so just by staking a Capy you will be earning #SUI

@joerlop @AftermathFi @SuiNetwork @wormholecrypto @bucket_protocol 1/2 Our vaults utilize the ownership semantics inherent to Sui. When you stake assets, such as our afSUI/SUI LP, into one of our vaults, you create a position that wraps the coin you've staked.

@joerlop @AftermathFi @SuiNetwork @wormholecrypto @bucket_protocol 2/2 As the owner of this position, you are the only one who can invoke transactions that interact with it. All of this to say that the vault does absolutely nothing with the funds that you stake because it can't access them to begin with.

@IanSNorden @samlafer @0xtrojan_ Also, the last paragraph is important as this presents a lower upper bound on the amount of time a validator has to search for MEV within a metablock. With an assumed RTT of 200ms - 280ms for a WAN, this already eats into the time allocated for searching quite a bit. As

@IanSNorden @0xtrojan_ I can only speak about how Sui handles this. It's important to reiterate that, during consensus, each validator observes only their local view of the DAG to deterministically obtain a total ordering of transactions to commit. At any given point, all validators may have slightly

3/ You are given a StakingReceipt object when you stake a Capy; this object must be provided when you want to unstake your Capy As we do not provide a public transfer function for the StakingReceipt object, we can guarantee that only the user who stakes a Capy can unstake it

Right now, the swapped $FUD or $SUI is transferred back to the sender and thus it cannot be accessed again to continue the route. Our routes will become more flexible as $FUD comes online on multiple liquidity sources. Till then you can swap from $FUD to any asset in two swaps.
