I once worked with a (British) psychiatrist who confused the word 'siblings' with 'giblets'. He would write 'X grew up in Bolton with three younger giblets.' No-one ever corrected him. That is all. #ThoughtForTheDay

I have just had to say goodbye to my precious beautiful Fozzchops. It was the kindest thing to do for her but I'm devestated. She was the most wonderful, loved dog and I'm so lucky that she was mine and I was hers 💔

Furpy has come through his operation today to repair abdominal wall, put bladder back and screw pelvis on one side. I can visit him tomorrow. He will then have a good few weeks resting and knitting some bones together before his hip operation. Long term prognosis good x

Trauma informed does not mean anti-meds. Medication is lifesaving for some, ineffective for some and harmful for others. I've said it before, please, please don't suddenly stop medication, it can play havoc - discuss fully with your doctor/psychiatrist.

2) It's the outright lies that suprised me. If you make allegations about someone, you need to be able to evidence them (I can), or expect to be on the end of a civil lawsuit. Even though the complaint was clearly vexatious and gone nowhere I'll be seeking legal advice.

Unfortunately they were not able to operate on Furpy today as they found damage to abdomen and pelvis both sides and bottom of spine. He will require possibly two future surgeries that need some expert planning. He is on great drugs, and apparently quite chilled. Me, not so much.

In other #FridayFeeling news, here is my sister (currently in Peru) and a lovely sloth she met called Marietta. Marietta lives with a family just outside the rainforest where she hangs about in trees but likes to come down for cuddles. We all love a cuddle, don't we?

Anthony William's sentenced to five years for the manslaughter of his wife, Ruth. I really hope the Sentencing Remarks are made public. Compare this to the typical 18yr sentences given to women who kill abusive partners and are convicted of manslaughter. 🤯
