Back in May, archivist Sarah Gallagher found two gold coins down the side of an old prayerbook here in Kennys. Today, we donated the proceeds of the sale of these to two wonderful charities - @galwaysimon & @irishredcross , who received €2,300 each. A lovely end to a great story!

We just had a family call into the bookshop who are on holidays in Ireland from Croatia. They order books online from us regularly, and made a trip to Galway especially to visit the shop. It's made our day! 🥰
