Today, for the first time in clinic, I prayed with my patient who had been going through several family stressors over the past year and was very uncertain of the future - a very intimate moment filled with vulnerability - thankful I could provide this for my patient 🙏🏻

Finished the last day of my family medicine rotation!! Very grateful that I got to learn so so much about primary care in these 2 months. I will definitely miss working with the entire team (MAs, LVNs, residents, and attendings) as well as the patients! 🥺

Today marks my first day of clinical rotations - a day that I have been looking forward to for a long time - the opportunity & privilege to work with, heal, and serve REAL PATIENTS! 🙌🏻 First off, 2 weeks of trauma surgery followed by 4 weeks of general surgery - here. we. go. 🤩

Presented my research in Dr. Jones lab ( @stressdoc1 ) through the @UNTHSC Pediatric Research Program today! First time giving a virtual presentation & I gotta say..I definitely prefer actual eye contact over staring into the green dot & my makeshift ring light!! #ZoomIsLife

Very glad I got to spend the past 2 weeks in the IR Suite! I was able to learn so much about interpreting images while also getting tons of experience with all kinds of procedures! Overall, a really fun time and a great learning experience 🤩
