Teaching our kids about dividing up their allowance (we do 40% spending, 50% savings, 10% charity, in jars so they can see the $ split up. Yearly, we deposit/donate.) My 5yo says ‘Mommy, could we call it SHARE-ity instead of charity?’ Further proof kids should name everything.

My kids & I got our flu shots this week. My oldest was very scared, so we talked about this: 1: it’s ok to be scared. I don’t like needles either. 2: we can do hard things, & it’s easier to do them together. 3: how lucky we are to do something that keeps us & others safe.

Morning 🇨🇦! Kicking off week 4 of WFH. How’s your day starting? Hoping for a good day here. We had a challenging Easter, with over tired & over sugared kiddos. I felt sad & homesick for family most the day, which didn’t help. But, waking up w/ the resolve to find joy today. ❤️
