My brother surprised us all by asking us to go to the temple with him on his birthday. We had no idea he was working on coming back to the temple let alone that close to being back. I'm so proud of him for making that choice.

While serving in Germany we baptized an 18 year old who we contacted on the street in Leipzig. A few months after leaving the area he moved to Berlin. And we lost contact. And everyone who knew him said it probably wasn't good. Well after about 10 years my companion made contact.

I think all libertarians and conservatives would be pleased to know that the Book of Mormon teaches that only wicked rulers tax people and the good ones do not burden their people with them. See Mosiah 2: 14, Ether 10: 5-6, Mosiah 11: 3-6, Mosiah 7: 15.

Been a long day and night for my husband. He started having abdominal pain yesterday morning. We took him to the instacare where they ruled out appendicitis. It got steadily worse until around 2 am when he went to the ER. It was appendicitis... he's out of surgery and recovering.

@SpiritedSparr0w Chick-fil-A prides itself on its workers being able to bring their babies to work. Honestly, I'd much prefer taking my kid to work than a government care facility. Plus if plans fell through on a sitter it would be such a relief to know I wouldn't be fired for bringing them in.

Back in 2016 my mom went on a road trip with me from UT to Ohio. We stopped in Nauvoo. We were going to do a session but the temple was closed for cleaning. Instead she found the person in charge and asked if we could help clean. Afterward she took us to see parts of the temple..

Haven't been to church in 3 weeks for the precaution of keeping my newborn healthy. The threat really isn't from the other adults, but from my own children going to nursery and primary and possibly getting sick. Anyway, all that to say I miss it and I'll be going back next Sunday
