@DASfxChicago I'm past the freak-out stage. Found out in May. Cried only once when I called my kids. Then I popped back to my usual self, perky and positive, accepting new things like tired out of the blue and need to stop and lie down, which I've never done in my life! Then next day fine.

@Shazaffatima 50 yrs ago This I was told. I ended up in hospital at year 3. I was unable to walk. He threw down the toilet the meds the hospital sent me home with and beat me for going to doctor. Another beating for wanting divorce. I arranged escape, seeing death ahead. Today's happy me born!

@piper4missouri My argument in teacher prep education class was that if public funds serve private schools then private schools are public. Public funds means public feet are in the door, govt voice dominates, like it or not. Careful what we wish for. Public money is not simple charity.
