According to Hind's mother, the day before Hind was killed, she and her cousins - who were killed in the same attack - were playing and pretending they were in school, reading and writing. It was the first time she'd seen them have a chance to do that since the start of the war.

Taking over Hamilton Hall as done in 1968, Columbia students unfurl a banner that reads "Hind's Hall," in reference to Hind Rajab, a six-year-old girl killed by Israeli forces. Hundreds of students cheer as the banner is revealed, erupting into chants to "Free Palestine."

Bad citations are worthy of a @nytimes news alert but not any of the relentless airstrikes in Gaza that have killed hundreds of civilians in the past week; the harrowing reports from hospitals in North Gaza; or the nearly 100 journalists that have been killed. Cool cool cool

We filmed with and interviewed the family in this case earlier this year for our @AJFaultLines documentary made in collaboration with @TBIJ . A year on, Waheeda and her family told us they had yet to be contacted by the US military.

My FOIA request on this hasn't come back, but this strike was recently explored in this story: A U.S. mil rep told @TBIJ "it was 'possible' there were civilian casualties in the attack, and that their investigation was closed."

Incredibly sad to hear about the death of Colombian writer Alfredo Molano. We spoke to him years back for @AJFaultLines to discuss the country's violent land conflict and who is behind it - still one of the most interesting interviews I've been apart of

@brianklaas @mehdirhasan If he doesn't want to read a book, he should at least watch National Treasure 2 and be educated about this by Nicholas Cage.

After the UN and the Israeli military agreed upon a route for a convoy of food, Israeli forces attacked it and continued to block its route afterwards. Children are dying of starvation in Gaza.

Flashing back to Rick Santorum saying it only "the left" that people were afraid of re: post-election violence In fact, it was exactly the scenario that is playing out now in Maricopa with angry and armed Trump supporters that people were worried about

In Charlottesville and after, journalists gave a lot of air time to white supremacists, allowing them to air their views - and never even bothered to challenge them. Don't go calling Richard Spencer asking him what he thought about the debate, k?

It'd be great if all these journalists outraged about @Ocasio2018 closing a town hall to press were even close to as outraged that so many *sitting members* of Congress haven't even been holding town halls the past year to avoid their constituents 🤷🏾‍♀️

It's truly disturbing how many journalists don't understand this

The fact that our political press prides itself on enforcing an ahistorical and jingoistic view of US foreign policy serves all of us poorly.

🤦🏾‍♀️ why do journalists not push back on this? Just because an interviewee is not a politician does not mean you can't hold them accountable for their beliefs in things that are demonstrably false. Ffs.

ABC's This Week continues to spotlight and platform Trump voters yet again who say things like "For me to believe that Joe Biden got 78 million votes ... I find that very hard to believe" and "it's never gonna be accepted."
