Doja Cat mentions Billie Eilish in the track โOuchiesโ from her new album โScarletโ:
โ[Made] a hundred โBilliesโ, Iโm the GOAT, no Eilishโ
I have a rule.
An album can have the best, most striking and wonderful lyricism I've ever heard
If I don't like how it sounds, I won't care for it.
It's music, not strictly poetry
Music twitter is so obsessed with not being basic people forget to actually just enjoy stuff
I've seen people complain about topsters with actual incredible albums just because they're popular like, get a grip
Music is supposed to be enjoyed, if it's good, it's good

It's not that they're wrong per se, I haven't heard the album, but calling it an "instant classic" is one of the most unprofessional things I've ever read
Girl did an entire era trying to a get a hit and couldn't, and just when she's settling down and doing her own thing again she gets her biggest hit ever ๐ญ
Kanye West via Instagram:
โI sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions. It was not my intention to hurt or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have causedโฆ
I am committed to starting with myself and learning
What a mess
The central idea of nihilism being solved through love is compelling but I wouldn't call it nearly as deep as this movie thinks it is
The cheap sloganeering and the million threads that consistently go nowhere made this movie a frustrating watch for me
6/10
I can't believe it, I just reached 1 thousand followers.
Thank you ever so much for your continued love and support. I love you all ๐

Noname speaks on the Jay Electronica controversy:

โSame with billy woods, I donโt really know what that n**** be talking aboutโ

Oh, you know.
Reinvented the live music medium, helped a new genre of music take shape, told countless outcasts that they could also enjoy music without a care in the world...
It's David Byrne, man
I appreciate the 10 but why did he gloss over so many aspects of the album, still
Why must a chunk of his reviews still be so surface level and shallow
Like I'm sorry but this just bugs the shit out of me
Itโs a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album. โ๏ธ Iโd written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so hereโs the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isnโt mine
