When I left my 100,000-pound job at JPMorgan to startup, my friends thought I had gone crazy. One even said I'd regret it when they would be "way ahead" in their careers. Here's the thing: I had NO interest in "beating" them. I just wanted to do something that made me happy :)

DON'T worry if your startup has a large competitor. Use it to your advantage: 1. SimilarWeb: Review traffic sources 2. Ahrefs: Steal SEO strategy 3. SpyFu: Get Google Ads keywords 4. Forums: Plan your next features 5. Brand: Position yourself as a smarter alternative
