Yesterday afternoon I found out the cancer has spread to my spleen/sternum. It's the first time it's spread to other organs in 2 years. I'm on pain medication. I didn't get upset, I can't control the cancer but i can control how I react to bad news and that is to NEVER give up!🙏

I've been in hospital for 2 days for a suspected blood clot on my lungs. I've also had a CT scan. I'm in a lot of pain with my liver, so I think the cancer is getting worse now. I haven't slept for days. As always, I try my best to hang on but I have to admit it's getting harder

This week has been one of the worst in my cancer journey as I was in excruciating pain and dropped 13lbs in a week. I have to say, I thought that was it for me. But thanks to the grace of God, @nottmhospitals and my willpower I'm back and feeling great! I won't let cancer win 💪

Pathologist report shows that all tumours have increased and there's new ones too. Definitely onto another treatment. Got a meeting with the doctor next week. There's only a few chemo's left they can try so I'm praying 1 at least keeps it at bay for me to have a little more time

5 years ago today, I found a lump in my left breast that changed my life. Not all negative changes, I appreciate life so much more now and don't sweat the small stuff. I've been stage 4 for 2 years. Despite so many twists and turns I'm still here, never giving up. Happy 2023 🙏🍾

2nd Gemcitabine today. I had a week off last week because of a chest infection but back on track again. I haven't been well at all unfortunately due to swollen legs, chest, and generally feeling unwell but I'm still here and still trying fight into a new year..Happy 2024 everyone

Chemo again today and as strong as I am, sometimes I struggle with it week after week with very little breaks. I'm also aware scan time is looming. I'll get my positive fighting back tomorrow, I'm sure. I know I shouldn't beat myself up for having the odd blip 🙏🙏💪💪💪💪

Good meeting with my Oncologist today. He's offering me weekly paclitaxel. He was astounded at how well I am and talked about possible clinical trials which I wasn't expecting. I really feel like he's got my back. Where's there's life, there's hope 🙏🙏😍

So, chemo has gone ahead today but we're back to trying to find a vein because of the port infection. I'm on antibiotics, it hasn't improved yet but it's early days. My CT scan is booked for Monday 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dr called this morning for my chemo check and he had the results of my ct scan already!! I was amazed. It's clear again!! After the liver op it seems taking capecitabine is working for me at the moment 🙏 this was the only Christmas present I needed ❤️ merry Christmas everyone 🎄

Sorry I've been a bit quiet on here lately. Had a cold and been busy but I'm feeling really well 💪🙏biopsy results should be back on the 22nd and scan booked for the 27th of March to see if Eribulin is working. Let's hope it's 3rd time lucky 🙏 my hair is growing too 😊😊

After a devastating week of negative news I had some great news yesterday! My scan results came back STABLE. Even in the lungs that had progression on the previous scan. I'm so pleased, I'll take any little wins at this stage #keeponfighting 💪💪💪🍪🍪🍪

Oncology called. Dr wants to see me in the morning rather than call me. I went into meltdown and asked someone to call me today..turns out it's in my liver and lungs. I'm not giving up! I feel fine and I'm running with that 🙏 I'll update after the appointment tomorrow ❤

Eribulin day again! This treatment is so kind, and it only takes 5 minutes to administer. It would be amazing if it was working 🙏 as this is very doable and my hair is growing back 😀. Going on a cruise next week😍🛳🏖 As always, my motto is #livingnotdying ❤️❤️🤩

I'm currently in A&E. While having a blood test in my port the nurses discovered this and apparently it's tracking which is bad as the infection could spread to my heart. Chemo may be delayed again 😷😷

Today has been a good day! My Oncologist pulled another chemo gem out the bag...Gemcitabine!! I didn't know i was eligible for this & I start on Friday. He thinks it has more chance of working than vinorelbine. It's incredible to have an amazing team behind me 🙏 @nottmhospitals

I've had some news today that I wasn't expecting. @royalmarsdenNHS called and I'm not eligible for any trials due to my liver function not being good enough for phase 1 trials. Which means I'm all out of options as far as I know. I'm still in shock 💔

Just a quick update...my Oncologist has decided to keep me on carboplatin for another 3 cycles because of how well I am. It's working well in the liver and that is where I was getting pain and I'm not in any pain at the moment 🙏 this is a very positive outcome 💕💕😊

@ProfKarolSikora It's the worst thing to hear, those words give me nightmares. I've been told twice in the past 2 years that I have Cancer but I'm still here to tell the tale. I agree with the prof, please get anything unusual checked. It really could be the most important thing you'll ever do.

Scan results show a mixed bag. Tumours have shrunk in my liver and chest wall but there's progression in my lungs. No coughing or breathless and still feeling great and living my life. I feel this news is still very positive as I haven't had any partial good news for 18 months ☺️

One year ago today I had half my liver removed because of the 2 tumours found. One year on, there's 5 tumours there now as far as I know 🙏 this could have led to me being cancer free. It didn't last long but I'll never forget my Oncologist taking the chance on me #NHS ❤❤

2 years ago today my then consultant told me I had 2 years to live. With my strength of character I chose to ignore those words otherwise I wouldn't be here today. I honestly believe no one should be given a time scale unless they ask for it. It can make you lose hope and give up

Results day..the cancer is much worse in my liver and lungs. I had adjuvant cycles of carboplatin in January 2019 and my Oncologist said it kept the cancer away for 11 months so they're trying that again 🙏 he's also been in touch with christies and Royal Marsden re trials today

Today is the first day I haven't been to work in 5 years because of pain. This makes me feel worthless if I'm honest and my hair's falling out again. But I've worked out today that I've had 46 chemo cycles and and 5 major ops and I'm still here, hoping 🙏❤️

Just to let you all know that I had the results from the ct scan and there's no evidence of disease!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 I know it won't be forever but I'll take it for now... Thank you for all your support. I have an amazing twitter family ❤❤

As our holiday went on I started to get very poorly and things haven't been great at all. But as usual all my strength is going into fighting and keep fighting. Giving up is not an option 🙏💪🍪 have a positive, blessed weekend everyone ❤️❤️

Sat in the chemo chair again and one of the nurses tells me that the only other lady that's also on #Trodelvy at my hospital is working for her so far. Such good news!! I really hope my scan shows that it's working for me too 🙏 all the hairloss will be worth it then ❤❤

Had a call from the hospital today. My her2 status is still negative so that means options are extremely limited now. I'm still hoping for more treatments coming through or trials that might be available. Still living, still hoping 🙏🙏🙏🙏

My sister and I have been on a 2 day sahara trip in Tunisia. Secondary triple negative breast cancer doesn't stop me having new experiences and I hope it never does 🙏🙏🐫❤️

Just sat at the hospital waiting for my 3rd round of #Trodelvy . I've had a CT scan appointment come through for the 13th of August. Please keep me in your prayers for a stable or improved scan, I'm desperate for some good news!! 🙏🙏🙏❤❤

@ProfKarolSikora Jan 2018 diagnosed with breast cancer. Chemo/radio/lumpectomy. 2019 came back in scar tissue mastectomy/chemo. It is now in the opposite armpit lymph nodes. On chemo for life but found early again. Please get checked.
