Supreme Court has ruled that right to privacy is a fundamental right & is an intrinsic part of the right to personal liberty under Art 21 of the Constitution. The action of TS police in checking phones amounts to an invasion of one's privacy and is therefore UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

3000 Cr is the revenue from liquor sales in December alone, of which 172 Cr was generated on 31 Dec. Reason for massive income: TS govt granted licenses to 2000+ wine shops. Worse, it allowed a sizeable number to open in residential areas, which, by the way, is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

A desperate BRS did everything possible - from distributing insane amount of money to threatening voters— to win this election. For instance, in Korutla, the BRS threatened Muslims that it would stop Shadi Mubarak & construction of a marriage hall if they didn't vote for BRS.

That's the pathetic condition of the govt school in Metpally: wet walls, no lights, worn-out blackboard, foul smell. Children have to sit in the class from 9 am to 4 pm. Only a tiny fraction of what's being spent in Munugode by-election is needed to renovate the entire school.

Telangana High Court recommended criminal contempt proceedings against Siddipet Collector Venkatram Reddy for saying that he will not honour (Supreme) court orders w.r.t sale of paddy. High Court warned govt of serious consequences if it did not stop harassing paddy sellers.

Just to refresh your memory: Siddipet Collector, Venkataram Reddy, who had the audacity to say he won't implement an order of the Supreme Court, not long ago, touched CM KCR’s feet -in full public - at an event marking the inauguration of the district collectorate.
