In 2022, Kentucky exported nearly 2 million dollars of agricultural products to Argentina. I met with the Consulate General of Argentina to talk about how we can further the partnership to help both our Kentucky producers and their country.

Kentucky agriculture and farmers have seen the impact of the Bourbon industry boom firsthand. 🌽Kentucky distillers purchased about 19 million bushels of corn and 2.6 million bushels of other grains from Kentucky farmers last year.

I woke up thinking about the greenhouse operators in Kentucky and how this weather impacts them. Propane is expensive and if the power goes out and heaters stop you could lose an entire crop. Many operators will sleep in or check on their operations throughout the night.

Kentucky farmers sold nearly 19 million bushels of corn and 2.6 million bushels of other grains to Kentucky distillers last year. I was able to join the @beam_uky discussing the economic development opportunities to bolster and strengthen the industry.
