In Louisiana, black women were put in cells with male prisoners and some became pregnant. All children born in the penitentiary to blacks were property of the state. At 10 years, they would be auctioned off. The proceeds were used to fund schools for white children.

Harvard has over $35 Billion in endowment money. Howard has $600 million. Combined, all 101 HBCUs have $2 Billion. Let that percolate for a moment. One school, Harvard, established by slave owners, has over 15 times more endowment money than all of America’s 101 Black schools!
