Today I dropped my husband @dmajik7 off for his #23 surgery from 10 years in the @NFL . Plz send a prayer up for him. Living life with a body that’s degenerating daily isn’t easy. He’s a fighter! And he hopes the fight for changes to the 2020 CBA will also help the #400forgotten .

@dmajik7 UPDATE: Your prayers are working! 🥰💋We broke Don out of the hospital this AM. Drs found a 50% & 70% tear on gluteal minimus & medius tendons. Repaired & reattached those. Definitely needed hip replacement. Lots of trauma there🏈. Doctors continue to rebuild him! 👨‍⚕️❤️

We received one of these letters. Took it to our financial advisor asking “how can we make this work & give @Dmajik7 the care he needs”. We RESPONSIBLY planned our future w/this letter. Now, @NFL & @NFLPA doesn’t feel he deserves what was to care for him FOR LIFE as they stated.

Great news for over 400 @NFL disabled former players today! In one of his first tasks as the new @NFLPA Executive Director, Lloyd Howell fought for the former players to keep their benefits from being cut almost 30% and got it done! So many families happy today!

The SSDI money being taken from hundreds of disabled players adds up to approximately $12 million or 0.14% of @dallascowboys owner Jerry Jones' $8.1 Billion. If you divide the $12 million by 32 it comes to $375,000 from each owner's pocket. #That 's 0.004681% of Jones' wealth.

@GaryEllerson No one in the staircases of the Twin Towers that day saw color of skin, job rank or gender. At that moment they (we) were actually all equal & free to love or hate eachother & human nature chose LOVE. Now so many choose hate and division, led by a whole different force entirely.

@DawnNeufeld @SheillaDingus @JCTretter When his rotator cuff tears in two, achilles tears in two, his ankles are fused, his back is fused, his neck needs to be fused, he needs hips injections to sit for any period of time & elbows need injections to pick up and drink from a coffee cup! Maybe then he will understand.

@BenefitsHuddle @gr8mimicindy Interesting. Never thought of it this way. Processing🤔 The more years a player plays, the higher the pension benefit credits. UNLESS playing all those years leaves your body disabled and on T&P, then its really NOT a “credit”, since they SUBTRACT the credit OFF the T&P benefit.
