I would binge constantly and my total cals for the day would be anywhere from 900 - 1.3k cals. I only drank full fat soda and wouldn’t dare to drink water. I weighed around 136lbs and I was around 5’0.
First time losing weight _..*•🎀
The first time I discovered edtwt I started doing intermittent fasting, and in two weeks I went down from 136lbs to 120lbs. This obviously pushed me straight into a honeymoon phase and I began losing about a pound a week.
Plateau 😔
At 115 I got stuck in the WORST plateau ever. To pass this, I ate more protein but less calories, around 400 a day. I would drink 2L of water every day and get 10k steps in no matter what. After about two weeks I finally lost again.
Finally reaching bmi 15
My calorie intake daily is 500 calories, and if I go over somehow I always get at least 10k-20k steps in, which burns 200-700 calories anyway !!
Unhealthy ways I suppressed my appetite 🪽
I do smoke and vape, so the nicotine naturally reduces my appetite.
I also fast quite a lot, around 24-78 hours twice a week at a minimum, and after about a day or two of fasting food becomes the last thing on your mind.

Thinspo ; looking at thinspo that you find triggering may help you find motivation to keep going!!
Mukbangs ; watching these might help your cravings disappear, especially if you’re watching bigger people eat thousands of calories!

Looking at photos of me being overweight upset me a lot, especially considering I began getting bullied at school for my weight. I couldn’t get out of bed and I was extremely unhygienic, causing me to lose close friends.
More about fasting 🍥
I often fast three times a week, sometimes even more. By reaching ketosis (12 hours in), your body begins burning fat that’s stored in your body. I lose about 8lbs when I fast for 4-5 days!
How to break a fast 🎧
Vegetables, fruits and healthy low cal foods like yogurts are amazing to prevent refeeding syndrome. By eating fats and carbs straight after a fast, especially a long one, can cause a lot of issues with your health, especially your gut.
I would consume carbs, fat and sugar consistently without worrying about how much I ate. In total I ended up eating over 50g of carbs a day, 30g of fat and around 40g of sugar. I would gain around 2lbs every week.
Constipation 💌
As you lose weight, you will notice that going to the toilet will be harder. I suggest low cal fibre foods and protein shakes, along sides a lot of water can really help. So will yoga and simple exercise <3
I drink 1.5-2L of water a day, which really helps flush empty calories out and reduces water retention. It also clears up your skin and reduces inflammation !!
I wore size L / XL and never exercised. I didn’t drink water and I struggled to move around at school or going out with my friends and family. I would bring snacks with me everywhere and drink so much Coke Zero and Pepsi Max every single day.

I do moderate exercise almost every day, whether that be Pilates, ballet, walking or yoga. Just Dance is also a really fun way to burn calories, able to burn around 200-300 in an hour :)
Food polls ; going through food polls help me so much, looking at food without eating it and choosing what to eat without actually facing the consequences of eating is so helpful!
Grosspo ; watching or looking at gross food can help put you off eating, and stop you from binging

Triggering movies/shows ; personally, I love watching Skins, Thirteen and To The Bone, as these trigger me into not eating, but of course there are many more movies and shows that are based around ED’s, even documentaries! <3
Starting off 💗
If you’ve never completed a fast before or you’re just starting out, it’s recommended to not try and go for over 24 hours as it might be too difficult and you could easily end up binging halfway through 🪽
I cut out as much carbs, fat and sugar as I can, considering these macros make me (and many others) gain the most weight. Eating plenty of protein is helpful, so foods like sushi, tuna etc. They’re really cheap and easy to eat!

Unfortunately my condition has worsened and I am bed bound. The doctors have been telling my parents to call family and the priest just in case. I am so sick, I am in so much pain. I just want the hurting to stop.
For longer fasts ;
Weigh yourself every day and watch the number go down. I do this when fasting for around 48-96 hours and it motivates me so much to keep going <3
bmi 12s now , walking hurts as well as doing basic things like getting out of bed , especially with the cancer.

Things to help you stay safe during a fast ;
Getting enough sleep and eating vitamin supplements such as Vitamin C, D and Magnesium can help! If you’re anemic like me, iron supplements can help you stop feeling as dizzy while fasting!!

Hobbies ; finding distractions helps so much!! YouTube, walking, listening to music, sleeping, reading , find something you enjoy and dedicate your time into that instead of worrying about needing to eat !!
I’m so upset I’ve been saving up for so long to fund my college degree.
I left it on the side in my room today and my sister has taken all ¥270,000 of it to go out with her friends.
Exercise ; simple things that won’t over exhaust you such as walking, doing yoga and Pilates, and simple stretches— even cleaning- can help your mind focus instead of focusing on food!
Places to avoid (if you can) ;
Avoid going near places that could influence you to eat if you have a history of binging.
Simply smelling the foods might also help you to stop yourself from eating if you know you won’t binge, as it can trick your mind!
Plenty of water ; drinking at least 1-2L of water a day helps flush out excess fluid, stops water retention and prevents hunger pangs!! It is honestly my best friend and is so much healthier than diet soda!!

I’m so tired. I keep losing weight, now bmi 12.6 despite being in recovery. My whole body aches, I can barely walk anymore. The treatment is draining me too. Some nights like this I feel like giving up.
