@RE_MarketWatch CMHC rolled out a similar plan during the whole market. I’m always cautious of anybody who says they are here to help with one hand in my pocket. Get equity on a bear market because they are planning for 2025-2030 run. Read the fine print people.

Don’t be shocked if in 10 years owning a home becomes ever increasingly difficult. The thing the market fails to realize is despite all of the Clickbait headlines in the biggest issue facing us is the corporatization of the asset. Companies and governments want to own your house.

@VarunSriskanda It’s literally like anybody that owned a home got a quarter million to 1 million added to their balance sheet and they spent it like it was real money. Fun fact, it’s not your money unless you sell, and you don’t lose money unless you sell. Both are true.

@daniel_foch I would love to see a chart on average income pre tax vs average income post taxation on income plus taxation on purchasing. I don’t think people really realize how low their purchasing power is also a forensic analysis of where those tax dollars are going would be fantastic.

@Bethazor1 I wonder if he’s created systems where he doesn’t actually have to deal with these people directly. If so, then he probably looks at the problem objectively and not too concerned about character or dealing with him.

@daniel_foch Same energy with a lot of the crypto and weed people when those were super hot. Nobody wants to be an actual craftsman at what they do they would rather be perceived as successful than actually successful.
