The President has stalled a bill from becoming a law. Parliament has stalled the appointment of some ministers. Both actions find justification in the Attorney-General’s advice. Clearly, the Supreme Court has a job to do, but to what extent may the Court’s decisions alone clear

The effect of the pro-government UTV thuggery goes far beyond UTV and A-Plus and all the panelists who were targeted. The bigger effect is that, going forward, any person who wishes to publicly speak NOT in support of this government would have to look over his or her shoulders
