My 3 year old son has watched me play a ton of Street Fighter and finally had the courage to try it out himself. I let him ponder the character select screen for nearly 10 minutes before he decided he wanted to play Dhalsim. He is now up for adoption.

In SFV, the ranked system was so useless that I still don't know if I was really a good player, or just a competent one with a few breakout successes. In 6, the MR system does a fantastic job of telling you exactly where you are as a player. I demand its immediate removal.

The V system was sick. Yes, some Vtriggers were bullshit, yes some characters had useless options, and yes, it took them years to balance it properly- but the amount of variety and strategy around selecting your 2 utility options for each mu and player was a lot of fun for me.

Sf6 has extremely cool taunts, but you're stuck into the entire animation and can't walk or act out of them, and will likely be punished every time, even on stun. I know this is a weird thing to complain about, but I've already complained about everything else.

Played a little SFV tonight, and the muscle memory has already begun to diminish a little. Feels very weird to let thousands of hours of building a very particular skill set just rot away. Makes me a little jealous of the 3s or Melee players who never have to move on.
