I need to step away from comp for a while. My irl life has really started to pick up lately and I want to embrace it as much as possible. I can't fit Splatoon into my schedule already filled with college, relationships, and jobs. Where does this leave me? (1/4)
UPSET ALERT 🚨
Seafoam reverse sweeps Graveyard Shift 2-1 in Loser's Round 8. This is an incredible result for Seafoam, getting a result against the best player in the world.
Let's ban JP because they keep winning!
If we have to ban Japan from playing in open majors just for Western teams to win, doesn't that reflect badly on us? The goal is that the West closes the gap with Japan, not shut Japan off.
Every competitive Splatoon team always has one of each of the following:
The weeb
The cocky one
The mf who would drive a car into a wall
The serious one
The guy who is always late
As a TO, I completely understand that I cannot make everyone happy. It is absolutely insane to me that people are complaining my event was too successful that it took viewers away from Big House. Lets explore the reasoning behind why I ran a tournament last night (1/6)

(spoiler i think)
After the final fight, the game takes you back to the lobby and if you ever put your switch to sleep during gameplay, it will say connection to internet was lost and DC you before credits roll, forcing you to replay the entire final sequence.

#NintendoSwitch
games launching in the first half of 2023.
Watch it live here:
I have officially stepped down as the Head TO for Squid Junction. My schedule simply prohibits me from putting in the work necessary to carry out the role. I'll still TO, but to a lesser degree. Thank you all so much for the support!
People are so allergic to losing. I get it, everyone wants to win, but that loss teaches you what you fucked up on so the next time you play, you have a better chance at winning. I see so many teams with so much potential disband after 1 or 2 bad tournaments.
No crab nerf, but big changes to address it
✓ Map layout changes
✓ burst bomb recovery frames increased
✓ inkjet 2.5x damage to crab
^ hammer 3x damage to crab
✓ Zooka 20% more damage to crab
✓ lag nerf
Stage changes could be massive, it could open up different playstyles
First, I will be leaving Last Resort. I'm so happy to have a taste of top-level, I'll never forget it. I've discussed this already with the team so fear not! LR isn't dying 😅. I will still play the game, but far less frequently. (2/4)
Switching gears…we've discovered a new feature that helps players connect. It's called a Pool, and anyone can join one by inputting a unique set of letters or characters. You can send and receive notifications with others in your Pool, and even invite them to join a battle!
Next, I will still TO Squid Junction. TOing has been a passion of mine and once I get my schedule under control, I plan to tackle massive TO projects in the future and really highlight storylines. Think of Golden Squid Junction, but on crack 🙂. (3/4)
I understand I'm over exaggerating about a one shot increase, but it's a sign of a more dangerous precedent. I'm all for buffing what's bad to counter the good, but what I'm starting to see is that the intended counters for the meta are shooter weapons (1/7)
