Traditional Dances of Ladakh: Kathok Chenmo
A dance style for the nobility in celebration of the glory and dynasty of Ladakh. Khathok Chenmo translates as the “large roof”. It’s a reference to the huge balcony of the seven storied Leh Palace, which could be visited even today.
