Great point Sarah, it always feels like I’m swimming upstream! Law enforcement need to know we are not going away, but more importantly we can actually help! We know our loved ones better than anyone, I was able to clear something up for them just this week.

Perpetrating the idea that family members are harassing the police by holding them accountable for their actions in their loved one’s cases is very damaging. I was terrified to speak out against the police. So are so many of the families I speak with.
