It's disgraceful that C4 News, Sky News & BBC Newsnight have all echoed Tory-inspired attempts to weaponise the Post Office scandal by singling out Ed Davey for blame. This sad saga has been going on for 25 years, with 15 different ministers i/c. Ed was minister for just 2 years.

Great to be out on the campaign trail in #NorthShropshire , delivering & canvassing in Oswestry with Lib Dem @WatfordMayor Peter Taylor. It's been an incredible byelection campaign. Lib Dem activists have come from all across the UK to help get Helen Morgan @helenhalcrow elected

In his speech Liberal Democrat Leader Ed Davey said the Lib Dems were the only party that would enact reform of the political system by scrapping the first-past-the-post system, which he said left “millions of people feeling powerless and excluded”.

The Lib Dems - who held the Yeovil Parliamentary seat continuously between 1983 and 2015 - have now announced Adam Dance as their candidate for the next General Election.

Well, what a surprise (NOT). @BBCNewsnight once again fails to include any Lib Dem on its programme. Its studio panel has a Labour, Tory and a SNP MP, plus a Brexit Party MEP. Just like last night when no reference to the @LibDems , let alone any interview with a Lib Dem. #BBCbias

I am normally a model of your moderate, reasonable Liberal Democrat, but I am FURIOUS with that bloody Peston and his bloody "Peston" programme. Tonight's two "old party" count is as follows: 3 Tory MPs, 1 Labour MP & 1 Labour Peer. There's NO @LibDems again ! @Peston @itvpeston

I, for one, am NOT pleased you have rejoined the Liberal Democrats. As far as I'm concerned, the Liberal Democrats should not be welcoming back those who are gender critical TERFS, namely Transphobes. Like Ed Davey and most LDs I believe Trans Women are Women & Trans Men are Men
