Yes, we are in a battle of good versus evil. But, I believe we are also in a battle of food versus evil - prioritize real food over convenience and have family meals. I believe there will be fewer divorces, more intact families going to church and teaching values, more love.

I just buried my little border collie, Buddy. He was with me for 16 years. I found him abandoned in timber country. That night, he wouldn't sleep alone so I let him on my bed. He has been in my lap or by my feet since. It is a sad day.

There was a little old lady that worked at the grocery store who was always super sweet to me. I saw her just last week and wished each other a Merry Christmas. She got pneumonia last Friday and died Christmas morning. Her name was Pam. Please say a prayer for her eternal rest

Update: I am still sick. My mom caught it - worse because she's in her 70s. My dog, Buddy is dying - he hasn't eaten in 3 days. He is 18. It is hard for me to show any weakness. I was taught the old fashioned way. Honestly, what little is left of my family could use some prayers.

@goldenkey112 "If a man will not listen to the Church, let him be to you as a heathen." "Forsake not the gathering the gathering together" "Do this in remembrance of me." Pretty hard to square the no church idea with the Bible that says the church is the "pillar and foundation"

@melodymlyons 1) vegetarian vegan diets are extremely unhealthy. 2) it isn't so much a matter of calories but nutrition. For instance, wheat now is about 90% less nutritious than it was before chemical fertilizer. We get a lot of bulk, but few nutrients.
