✨✨Beautiful day for the third annual Palestine Philadelphia Solidarity day that recognizes the long standing historical, cultural, social and economic contributions of the Palestinian community here in the City of Philadelphia ✨✨
I’m asking everyone to come out and recognize, acknowledge, and uplift the long standing history of Palestinians to the beautiful City of Philadelphia. ✨
11/29, 12-1pm, Art Museum steps ✨
Everyone is welcome!
It was an honor to speak at the Day of Serenity Gala honoring families impacted by gun violence and showering them with phenomenal gifts but more importantly, recognizing their pain and grief - giving them another village to rely on.
No list can truly demonstrate how great and passionate
@adambonin
truly is buuuuuuut congratulations ✨ you deserve all the recognition. Gdub eagles soar!
@CityAndStatePA
I’d like to roll out a youth ambassadors program in every neighborhood across the city of Philadelphia to engage young people in the civic engagement process and build on trusted community messengers.
After a long few months of contemplating and a few universities to choose from, I’ve decided to go back to
@LaSalleUniv
for my graduate degree this new year.

Walking into my hair appt (a salon I’ve been going to for close to a decade in center city) & the owner says “someone loves you Jude your appt is paid for” 🥺✨ early birthday gift I’m so thankful. 🥲
Yesterday, I completed the
@pewtrusts
, Rvesta Consulting & Anavi Strategies Emerging Leaders Corps. I was 1 of 17 leaders apart of this inaugural cohort and I’m so grateful to know these diverse leaders across the city! I cant wait to get everyone back together again.
I’m Palestinian American. I’m a Semite. I’m human. Palestinians come from all different faiths & backgrounds - Christian’s, Muslims, Jewish etc. African American, White, Brown, AAPI.
Everyone deserves to be a free person and live in peace.
For the past few days I’ve attending women leaders advancing professional development program at the
@HarvardContEd
school. It’s been a fantastic experience, can’t believe tomorrow is the last day.
There’s always something to learn.
We can’t give up bcs times are hard. I’m a strong believer that we can have nice things, clean things, great and innovative streets, houses, stores no matter which part of the city you live within.
Attended the
@PalestineWrites
festival today & I’m just mind blown and filled with so much love and pride. Being a

25 has been such a beautiful year. I was struggling how to define it but this was one of the best years of my life so far. I say that about every year and I hope that never changes.
Super excited to have completed the Women Leaders - Advancing Together professional development program out of
@HarvardContEd
!! It was such a fantastic experience getting to know esteemed professionals and learning best practices to support my leadership skills ✨✨✨📜
Can we
#raisethewagePA
. We are last place with our bordering neighbors to raise the wage over 300k Pennsylvanians make less than 9$/hr. Our wage is still at $7.25. This is unacceptable for a great state like PA. Everyone deserves to live in dignity.

11/29, 12-1pm at the Philadelphia Art Museum to celebrate Palestine Philadelphia solidarity day. This is to recognize the Palestinian community that have a long standing history in the city of Philadelphia for their social, cultural and economic contributions! See you there ✨✨
Over a year ago, I joined
@SenatorHaywood
on the ENOUGH tour. The report comes out today at 11am Stream the press conference at 10am on Senator Haywood’s site!
I spend new years home w/ my family. I’ve only gone out once before in all of my life so far. Nothing beats just hanging out. But this year it’s tough to celebrate a new year. I am for sure excited about all of the upcoming projects and life stuff!!
A lot of hate on twitter. I’m willing to host a coffee/tea/juice circle to bring people together from different faiths, backgrounds, walks of life etc… let’s talk and truly see we may walk different paths but we are one of the same
There was a point in my life where I was terrified to tell people I’m Palestinian. In fear that there would be social retaliation, opportunities seized from me and discriminated against as a Palestinian, immigrant, Arab and Muslim. Friends would tell me not to identify as any ^^
Palestine Philadelphia Solidarity Day will be on 11/29 for our third annual year to recognize the rich historical, economic and social
#palestinian
contributions to the City of Philadelphia that dates back to the 1800’s. ✨ more details coming this week ✨
I will advocate for all people regardless of race, religion, party affiliation. That’s apart of my identity. I will advocate for my Christian brothers & sisters, Jewish brothers & sisters… etc ALL PPL
3 mosques in two months have been vandalized in Philadelphia. The hate rhetoric needs to stop.
Mosques are not just safe havens for Muslims, they welcome all sorts of people. They are critical to the surrounding community providing safe hubs for ppl, food banks, etc
Many would tell me “Jude don’t tell the interviewer you weren’t born here” although I am American that carries a US passport.“Don’t tell them that you’re Muslim, avoid religion in its entirety” “consider changing your last name.. you know people are” these were things ppl told me
Shouldn’t the first amendment apply to every single person regardless of party affiliation, faith, race, and any other way one may identify?! So why yall trying to censor ppl in the streets and social media?!
Yesterday 68
@PAHouseGOP
members voted against recognizing the Muslim holiday of Eid despite the fact that they had just recently voted for the same exact language recognizing Diwali.
One PA House Republican argued only Christian holidays should be recognized.
Absolutely gross.
