DeFi protocols are integrating different staking providers to help users diversify. @MakerDAO and @AaveAave are notably pursuing this. Progress is slow however and hampered by factors which created the monopoly in the first place: min TVL / liquidity / oracle requirements.

We are all individually flawed as humans. For most, this leads to trivial disagreements with friends and family. For those in power, it can lead to an invasion on a neighbouring country. Decentralisation of power is just as important as decentralised currencies.

Aside from diversification, FEI can also benefit from the dual token model that @stakewise_io provides: 1) Greater staking yield from better capital efficiency. 2) Ability to reinvest rewards and hence improve yields further by compounding.

@litocoen @stakewise_io @aave @lemiscate - It is more cost effective than Lido (~half the fees) - DAOs can utilise their community's nodes to stake their capital in a trustless manner (more decentralized). - They can even liquid stake against these nodes, which Aave is doing to leverage stake (increased yield).
